If you're going to keep up intentional challenges / infringements for a while, I

suggest that you

a) Use digestive enzymes some of the times

B) Keep a sharp lookout for ANY signs of change during these periods.

c) Write down what you see, in order to make it easier to search for coherent

patterns later on:

What symptoms can be recognisable as being related to the infringements,

When do they start, and

How long do they last.

Since the " infringements " are likely to be enormous, by our standards, the more

or less subtle after effects can be fairly long lasting: I'd guess up to 2-3

months. Your child's sensitivity to offending protein is likely to vary a lot,

as time goes on.

's diet challenge update

> For those interested, I want to update you on our challenge of 's gfcf

diet. And a big THANK YOU to n who sent us the info several times!

had been strictly gfcf for 7 months when we challenged her and we followed the

protocol n recommended.

stimmy days and one day did some eye tics. For the most part we did not see

regression. But we saw enough (poor eye contact and spaciness) that we've

decided to continue the diet indefinitely. My husband said he wants us to allow

infringements at his mother's house but that is all. (My MIL is really

resistant to the diet). That is our compromise.

feed them the same thing so she has been gfcf too. Anyway, she immediately

developed diaper rash, her eczema is worse and she's developed a cold. Also,

she is crabby and not sleeping well. Very interesting, huh?
