What should we have for the 1st day of DBB?

Friday our little man is getting his last cast off and putting on his

Markell boots & bar for the 1st time. I know we need socks, but what

kind? Can anyone recommend a brand or a style to look for? Anything

to avoid when looking for socks?

I've read that Lasinoh works well for blisters & I already have that.

Is there anything else we should get before hand?
