Hand and finger pain

I was just wondering - do any of you also have pain in your fingers and hands?

Since this latest flare up of NS (since Sept 10) I've had increasing pain in my

finger joints, along my fingers, and sometimes in my hands.

My gallium scan showed early signs of osteoarthritis in my *wrists* but not the

rest of my hands. It does feel a bit like osteo at times, and my fingers often

feel stiff and my hands often feel hot to the touch...

What's perplexing my doctors is that I'm on such whopping doses of

anti-inflammatories (pred) I shouldn't be showing an inflammatory response to

anything! I'm seeing my joints/bones specialist (sports physician) and

immunologist next month, I'm hoping they can shed a little light. I'm just

wondering whether it's a NS symptom of some sort (my immunologist didn't think

so, when I spoke with him on the phone a few days ago tho).
