Post-op you just don't desire much at all and work real hard to get water in to worry about the other stuff. By the time you want lots more you're healed enough to have most anything. At least that was my experience. I love food again, but I'm not obsessed with it anymore. That's so nice! I once had a pastor's wife (very thin) tell me that heaven would be getting to eat anything we wanted and I responded by saying, no, heaven would be not wanting more than I should have. I'm really in heaven because I get both. Jackie
Guest guest
Dear folks; First sushi and now carbonation??!!! I love carbination!! It's my favorite part of my caffeine free diet Pepsi or any beverage. But I can see how it could be a irritant. I've only signed up on this sight yesterday and you have all been very informative. Does anyone know of a Med Center in Modesto that specializes in DS surgery? Thanks, Sandy --- Steve Goldstein wrote: > At 4:11 PM -0600 11/15/01, Randall Long wrote: > >... > >- Is soda prohibited because it will interfere with > weight loss (due to 100% > >sugar absorption), > > Yes > > >or is there some other gastric/digestive reason? > > Yes: Coke (the REAL Coke) is loaded with caffeine. > That stimulates > the production of stomach acids.
