He still won't drive, Jodi R

I hear you about the driving, Jodi. The store is only 3 miles from

our house, but I'll be the one taking him. Hopefully my husband

will do the pick-up because it will be 10pm and I'll have turned

into a very tired pumpkin by then once school starts. (Only two

weeks left of vacation....) Plus, I have that scholarship program

I'm involved with, so on the days Max doesn't work, I will be doing

my stuff after school. I'll need the down time on those late

afternoon/early evenings.

Oh, today I was thinking about the snow. These stores don't close

for anything. I'll be driving Max to the place in the snow. I hate

driving in snow.

Anyway, Max has said that maybe next week he will try driving again.

We'll see. It would help so much if he could drive himself, but

he's just not ready. If only you could see his face when I bring

the subject up! He better consider living in NYC or he'll be in

trouble.

Hope is doing well. I assume so since you have not mentioned

anything. What a tough guy. Wonder what it will be like when the

cast comes off?

Poor Max. One of these days he will come out of the driving thing.

I wonder what has him scared so bad, though?? So how much longer do

you have for your scholarship program? Sounds like you have yourself

spread a little thin and could use some rest! You are probably like

me though. When you have a little free time on your hands you just

about go crazy not knowing what to do with yourself! Us teachers are

like that! :o) Hum, can I still call myslef that even though I

haven't taught in......huh, six years!? Whoa. Time flies.

is doing just splendid. I can't believe how well he has done.

The only thing is that he has been pretty tired, but has been waking

up at like 6 am. Don't know what that is about, but then he wants to

take 3-4 hour naps! Big dork! :o) Wants me to get up at the crack

of dawn and then he gets to sleep 3 hours during the day. Thta's

okay, though. I am just ELATED at how well this how surgery thing

went and now recovery. So awesome.

Better go. Haircut time! Don't know what I am doing with mine yet.

Hair is impossible! Hubby wnats it curly again.
