Hi All,

Am looking for two things:

--> Dentists in NJ/PA/NY who specialize in RSS issues

--> I'd like to learn more about the special dental issues faced by

RSS/SGA children. This will help me better discuss the issues when

parents email me. (and, now that is 8 and soon to enter the

dreaded braces land, it will help me too!). So, if you were to

educate a new parent about dental issues, what would some of you

advise them?

Thanks,

Katy

-I hope this info helps -

I've worked with a cranio facial team in Chicago. They are

considereed the best in the Midwest. Anyway, it was suggested to me

to visit this team for all of Ian's cranio facial needs; i.e., palate,

orthodonture, speech, and genetics. I'm not aware of any teams in the

area you are looking - but, there is apparently one in Virginia. I

can look into that for you if you'd like.

The reason for working with a full team such as theirs is covering the

full spectrum of issues the doctors can work together to produce the

best outcome possible.

I lost the results from their individualized appointments/treatment

plan when we moved and are getting a new report in the mail this

week. I'd be happy to share any info specifically relating to the

dental subject once I receive it. Please feel free to e-mail

personally.

Sort of a related topic:

Has anyone's insurance covered braces since they are medically

necessary???
