Warning/Lane Charge Accts

I know this is off topic, but Lane has upset me so much, I

just have to tell all of you. I will never EVER shop there again

(the fact that I wont have to shortly, is not the point!) .. I have

had a charge account with them for quite some time.. approximately 5

years. I have always paid my bill faithfully, missing very few due

dates (maybe twice during this period of time) and when I did, I

never complained about the late fee... I figured it was my fault.

Well, I have not been using the charge much, just trying to pay it

off. I admit that my payment for November was late. With it, I

included the payment for December. I received no late fee for the

November payment, but did receive one for the December payment. My

payment is due on the 5th and the charge was assessed on the 10th of

December. So, when I got my bill, I called and asked the charge be

removed as a one time courtesy. They refused, stating that I cant

make two payments at once.... and what's more, she was nasty about

it. Carla is who I spoke to and all I can say is, she must be a thin

person. Keep in mind, I worked in finance for VERY large auto

manufacturer's credit company.. I know ALL about how payments work.

Well, I sent an email to the company appealing my position. They

sent me an email back stating that 'they were unwilling to take the

late fee off' my account. I think that's a pretty shitty way to

treat a customer especially considering how much I have spent there,

and my nearly impeccable record. I am paying off my account

immediately, and beg all of you who shop there to shop elsewhere. I

know I cant make any of you feel the way I do right now (nor would I

want to).. but if you understand where Im coming from , I know you

wont have any problem agreeing that boycotting that store and their

charge accounts is called for. Just one more way they stick it to

the fat girl! I'm not going to take it.. are you??
