Guest guest
hi ellen- just happened to be skimming the messages and saw your post. i don't know if dry skin has always been a problem for you or just since the surgery...but i have battled this my whole life...and it has only gotten worse in the past 2 months since my surgery. i am assuming that it is because of the fat malabsorbtion. i came across my skin solution by accident. from drumming i would always lose a lot of moisture from my hands and have cracks in the skin. when i began drumming with africans, they introduced me to the wonders of shea butter. it is a miracle solution to many skin problems. originally i just used it on my hands and feet, but have slowly taken to using all over. now, since the surgery, i have started using it on my face too. the wonders of shea butter are really incredible. it is not just the best mousturizer, but hypoallergenic, a natural anti- oxidant, and it helps fade stretch marks too! if you want to find out more about it, check out this page. http://www.modedeviebodycare.com/mdvsheastory.html i have never bought it on the web, but you can find it most african gift shops and some health food stores. (ellen, if we get together this weekend, i will bring you some) now here is my problem...dry hair. another issue i have been dealing with my whole life, but has now gotten much worse. my mane feels like straw! does anyone have any super solutions for this? i am currently using aussie moist shampoo and conditioner, followed by a leave in conditioner. HELP! thanx- kim
