Guest guest
Hi Maloy, I am sure you will get a lot of replies, but it is crazy how some doctors like to pass the buck. I know from our own experience and what others have said on the listserve is that it is not enough to go home just because the child drank and no longer seems dehydrated. When Jonah gets a stomach bug and cannot keep anything down and is spilling ketenes, he stays in the hospital with a D10IV until he is able to keep food down and stop spilling ketones. Is Tori throwing up, keeping stuff down or spilling ketones? and Jodi Z. have both written down the protocol for stomach viruses, I believe this was on the listserve recently again. Jonah is not tube fed, so it may be a little different, but is sounds to me like she should not have been released so early. See what some of the experts on the listserve say. Hope she is feeling better. , Jonah's mom Day spent in ER with high BS > Hey, > It's been awhile since I have posted but I have been reading. Our > morning started out normal.
