Hi there,

my husband is doing a teacher exchange for one year to England

commencing August 2006. We will be based in Somerset (near Shepton

Mallet)and I was wondering if there are any RSS families nearby at

all. It would be great to have some guidance as to doctors etc as well

as to catch up with anyone there. Also, I would like to get in touch

with Dr Stanhope re having him see Charlie while we are over there -

any ideas on how to do this?

Any replies welcome!

cheers

Alison (mum to 3yrs, and Charlie RSS 2 years, GHT, gtube etc

etc)

Hi Alison

We live in Kingston, Surrey which is near London and about 2.5hrs

drive from Shepton Mallett. I used to live in Bath, so I know that

area quite well, infact I have a friend who lives very close to

Shepton Mallet. I will ask her about doctors etc, although she will

not know of any RSS experts.

I am not sure of the best way to contact Dr Stanhope, hopefully

someone else can help you with that. It would also be a good idea to

contact the Child Growth Foundation, which is the UK equivalent to the

MAGIC Foundation as they would be able to put you in touch with other

UK families. They should also be able to help you contact Dr Stanhope.

It would be lovely to meet up with you when the time comes! In the

meantime, please feel free to contact me if there is anything I could

do to help with your move etc.

Good luck with the move!

All the best
