I don't understand what is going on with my computer. There are 17 emails since

this morning on the RSS group (I checked Yahoo) and how many did I get? THREE

Now how can I get some but not all?? This is making no sense? Ken are you seeing

any bouncing from me at all?

Now for the chat (or maybe it's another vent).

Spoke to the principal today and I said what I planned to say and she told me to

stop talking around in circles and just say what the problem is. I said " I

can't, union guidelines says I may not make a negative report about another

member, I am just telling you it is imperative to Adam's physical and mental

health that the 3 of us meet "

Well she didn't like that at all. She said " fine how about an EA? " I said " he

does not need an EA I am not asking for support for him I am asking for proper

PROGRAMMING that is afforded him by USING THE I.E.P "

Well she bolted. Nope, she told me to get ANOTHER special ed teacher on staff to

meet with the teacher, have that person meet with me, have that person read

Adam's file. Give her several days to do that and then we can see if we still

need to meet.

Anyone else shaking their heads???????????

So I have spoken to this other person and she is now freaking out that she is

being put in the middle, I am trying to say " you are not, in fact YOU might hear

something the teacher is saying that I haven't heard; because I am too close to

the situation; and maybe you can come up with some alternate strategies that I

haven't thought of " .

I give up folks I just give up.

And then there is that beautiful email from that made me cry and I

didn't even get it!!!!!!!

Deb - I've taken a couple of minutes to think through your post. I

think you need to do what the principal asks for now. She does not

seem willing to work with you at this point and sometimes -

politically - we need to approach the situation from a different

angle. Besides, you working there is probably causing a little

ruffled feathers on everyone's end. So, taking you out of the loop

may help them and you. It's only 3 more days. I would go through

with her suggestions - which will make the principal " feel "

important - and find out what the other special ed person sais. If

she does her job properly - which she will - she will hopefully come

up with a good plan that will appease everyone. If not, then Deb -

you need to take a step back, reanalyze the situation and come up

with a firm plan yourself of what you want done. And, I mean - you

need to come up with scenarios...i.e., if they do this - I'll do

this, if they do the other - I'll do this.....do you know what I

mean? You need to take some time and figure out your game plan.

But, first, let's see what the principal and special ed teacher come

up with. Now you have three days to " breathe " - come up with your

own scenarios/game plan and relax. (I hate that word relax!) It is

out of your hands for the moment. Does this help??? Did you even

get this message? I'm going to post this and copy your e-mail.

By the way - how could you cry if you didn't even get my e-mail?
