Guest guest
Yes! I didn't die on the table! I'm switched and staying at the Mount Sinai Guest Residence. Still have a good amount of pain, but am proud to say that not only have I passed gas a few times, I've also had 2 tiny BMs. What worries me is that I still have a low- grade fever--around 1 or 2 degrees above normal. It has been slowly and steadily going down. Luckily, my pulse is nice and low; white blood count only a little high--so it doesn't look indicative of a leak. I met Peggy and Sheryl at the hospital. Sheryl was having trouble the first day a little bit, but looked much better toward her discharge day. Peggy, on the other hand, looked stellar the ENTIRE time. That woman is tough and has a fortitude and a cheerful attitute that I've not encountered in too many people. Wish I could say that about myself. Still a little freaked out about " what I've done to myself " . Probably cuz of the pain. Looking forward to talking to all you later!
