Guest guest
short of putting the child back on gluten-I dont think the tests would be accurate for celiac unless you do. We did not do the testing formally but-a growth spurt following the introduction of a gf diet is a indicator of celiac-as is loose bowels following gluten ingestion, abdominal pain after eating gluten, vitamin defficincys, not gaining weight,or in our case gaining too much-overeating trying to get the vitamins he was lacking. Based on the symptoms our doctor said since we were already gf and he could not test he would assume celiac. Hope this helps.LsiaF Gluten Challenge > Hi > > DH and I are doing a gluten challenge with DD. Yesterday was the second time > we gave her gluten. Today her BM floated.
