Guest guest
At 4 months post op, I am just starting to get my strength back. I am a bit more mature than the average Ds patient however and had pre existing physical issues that limited my ability to do a lot. HOWEVER - now that I am feeling better, I have found that I have much more long term energy thn prior to surgery. I can be busy, out and about or cleaning the house or whatever for a longer period of time than in the several years prior to WLS. And I'm still hoping that significant continued weight loss will assist me in healing my chronic back injury or at least help with the pain issue. I believe that once the surgery is healer there arent any restrictions on your innards. And as I had a lap surgery, I had no surgical site problems other than a few weeks of normal healing...the scars are faded already (I use vitamin E oil on surgical scars). I wouldnt let the fear of being limited in activity be a negative issue for you...if anything weight loss will give you more stamina and a bettter chance to build up some strength for the fun things in life crone elle in oregon...say whats that strange yellow thing in the sky? Is the sky always that funny blue color? Is this oregon or OZ? > A quick question for the post-ops... what physical > limitations do you have as a result of the surgery?
