It is the only thing I haven't been able to get the insurance to cover, and get this....my dental insurance won't cover them either (because none of the participating providers are willing to work with nor know what to do with him, and I can't go outside of the network). is being treated in a clinical setting (a nearby dental school) as a research case. However, it has been a VERY slow process (almost 2 years & still no braces!). With any luck, he will be having oral surgery in October to get the ball rolling (I think medical insurance should cover this). Kim C.
