Guest guest
WOW, I have had a rather rough day with therapists in and out and baking for my son. I made soups and cookies. It is hard what we are doing for our kids. As much as I LOVE this site not always do I get the time to come here. I often ask people to email me cause at least that I check a few times a week. I am in tears here just reading some of the posts and the way we answer them for each other. We are all great parents doing what we feel is best for our children. God has blessed us with these special little children for a reason. It has made us all stronger. It has opened up our eyes to what is HEALTHY. Since Gavin has been diagnosed with Autism I have lost 50 pounds. I do not even want to eat some of the things I used to. I read labels and put it back on the shelf. It is know wonder we are dieing of cancer look at what we put in our bodies. LISA I hope you read this because YOU have helpped me so much with all my questions. You are such a great part of this site. And too. Gee I love you all. Together we can do this for our kids. They need us. They need to count on us. Now I dont feel as bad as I did before when I got online tonight. THANKS FOR CHEERING ME UP. Just for being here. I wish there was a chat room that we all could go and just vent at the end of the day. Does anyone know of one??? I need parents that have autistic children to be my friends so they can relate when I tell them what I went though all day. I know this diet has helpped Gavin. I know the supplements he is on is helpping him too. I know the ABA and going to school is doing a great benefit to him. He loves it. I just need to know more of what to do next. In steps. One thing at a time. That is the tough part. I remember a number of months back I was the new person in here. Scared and not knowing anything. Now I still am un sure of somethings. But I know that when I am down or when I have a question or when I need help YOU ALL ARE ALWAYS HERE FOR ME. That is a great feeling. Ok this book is long enough. I just hope people read it. Take Care, Stay Safe, and God Bless YOU ALL. Cindy, Wisconsin, proud mom of Gavin 3 Autism, and 4 other wonderful children 21,17,13,7 and of course hubby too. )
