I just saw this thread regarding hair loss. I started using nioxin

about 1 month before I had surgery. I've used if faithfully since

then, but unfortunately it has not helped with the amount of hair

loss at all. I started losing mine at about 2 months out, and I'll

be at 5 months out on December 9th. I'm really getting worried at

this point because it is still coming out like crazy, and it is

really quite thin at this point! I thought I had read that it only

lasted on average a month or two?? I'm happy that the actual hair

left still is quite healthy at least in appearance, i.e. shiny and

silky textured, but what good is that if there isn't enough to even

notice?! What used to be a nice sized ponytail is now only about the

diameter of a penny it seems like! I've also been taking the hair,

skin, and nails pills since before surgery, so I'm not sure if

there's even anything else to try. I just hope it stops and soon!
