I just thought I would send an update about the poison ivy and brace

wearing. I emailed Dr. Ponseti and this was his response:

I am sorry to hear of Mallory's bout with poison ivy. You should remove the

brace and follow your pediatrician or dermatologist's recommendations for

treating the poison ivy. The brace should be reapplied as soon as it is under

control.

Hopefully nobody else has to deal with this but just in case I thought I

would let you know!

I am nervous having her brace off ( afraid of relapse) and I have been

dorsiflexing her foot alot.
