Guest guest
After having written to Dr. Ponseti about Marcus' knees popping, I received an email with his response. Here it is (and boy do I feel better!): " The popping in the knees is often produced by a discoid meniscus (cartilage) in the knee. There are two cartilages in the knee which are usually half moon shape. However, sometimes they are round and they make this noise when the foot is rotated as it is in the brace. Usually it is not symptomatic and when the brace is removed, it will be less noticeable. I.V. Ponseti, M.D. " Mommy to Marcus Nov. 2005 LCF ( FAB 18-20 hours/day) and March 2001 --------------------------------- Love cheap thrills?
