Subject : RE: Follow-ups after 23/7 FAB-wear

Hi All,

-J'nee just finished her 3 months of 23/7 FAB wear. So, at this

point, how often should we be going for our check-ups? During the

23/7 wear, we followed up every 3 weeks. By the way, at our last

appointment, they told us that when their patients had as much

flexibility as -J'nee does, they have not experienced relapse!

Yay!!

Haven't been on in sooo long. Just started back working and still

adjusting to 40-hour work week and no sleep and and 8-year-old and my

7-month-old.

Hope everyone is doing well!

and -J'nee

,

I think the time between follow ups will depend on how far the

patient has to travel, how severe the case is, and if there are any

concerns- but overall, our experience was that Dr. P wanted to see

every 3-4 months for the first year following correction, then

it was more like every 6 months...

now at age 6, he'd probably be happy just seeing her yearly, but

since we're relatively close, I tend to take her in every 8-10

months or so.

HTH!
