Guest guest Posted November 1, 2001 Report Share Posted November 1, 2001 Here is my 2 cents on Sorghum. Like the others who had success, I love Sorghum. I use it straight as well as blend. Depends on what I am making. I just made chocolate covered donuts this weekend with my 13 year old nephew (once my boys were in bed). Besides great success, great bonding with my nephew. ;-) Anyway, The Sorghum goo statement made me think of all the flopped recipes I had prior to my kitchen aide mixer. I don't know what mixer you have, but I know the inexpensive hand mixers did nothing but frustrate me and I got a total mess. If you are trying already successful recipes I don't understand how they could not be working other than that. The other times I've had difficulty is in the humid summer. This summer, even in the bread maker, my breads flopped. Hope that gives you an answer. Oh, not sure if it makes a difference, but I also order my flour from www.twinvalleymills.com Good luck.
