Guest guest Posted July 13, 2010 Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 I am not sure what kind of measurements he took, but he did it incorrectly if he used a tape measure. Other than measuring circumferance, a caliper is what gets the correct numbers. Obviously, the decision to band is yours and should be based upon more than the numbers, but I just wanted to let you know that I don't think he knew how to take the measurements in the "standard" and accepted by the field manner. This would make me a little bit nervous about trusting his severity assessment. They said they would personally not do a helmet since she was sitting up and sleeping on her stomach. We did an MRI to make sure nothing else was going on but decided not to do the helmet.
