Guest guest
Trina, I am also a member of that list and my son has been on these enzymes for 6 months now. We are GFCF and use them primarily because he has poor protein digestion (you can see the meat fibers still in his stool). Before we used them, he did not like to eat meat but now, his appetite has improved, he is putting on weight, and he overall looks healthier. These were formulated to work instead of the diet or when you just can't do the diet. Some are doing this successfully but it does not work well for all. They are WONDERFUL if you have a diet infraction and it virtually eliminates the reaction if you give it quickly (within 1/2 hour). I especially like having them when we are travelling and eating out and you worry about cross contamination issues. I know that the Peptizyde will eradicate any casein or gluten it comes accross. These enzymes were formulated by the Devin Houston, who developed Serenaid by Claire Labs. He made it better and stronger and geared it specifically toward the gluten and casein problems that autistic children have. And he is a great guy as well.
