Hanger happens to be in my insurance network, unlike Cranial Tech. The Cranial

Tech rep did reassure me that my daughter fits the criteria for insurance

approving (based on her past experience), and suggested that I call around to

see if there's another specialist within my insurance network. I thought it was

nice of her to offer that information. We have an appointment with Hanger on

Thursday. I've read that results depend greatly on the skill of the person

handling the helmet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We used that Hanger... but it was before they moved to the Encino office.

was our ortho.

was great... and did all he could with the product that Hanger gave him. I found that Hanger was inconsistant with the manufacturing of the bands. My dd had 2... the 1st one took 2 weeks of adjustments to get it right and the 2nd was always too big and a waste of time. tried to get it to work but a good ortho can only do so much with a bad band.

You might want to go for a consult with CT in Pasadena... then you can make a more educated decision.
