Need help from New York folks!

Hello all! I returned the info packet sent to me by Dr Macura and am

waiting for a call to schedule an appointment. Since I'll be

traveling from central PA and have never been to NY city, I'll need

some guidance from anyone knowledgable about travelling there. If I

take a train, I'll end up at Penn Station. If I take a bus, I'll end

up on 8th Ave. What's my best move after that? A bus to Dr Macura's

office on Staten Island? A taxi? What if I need to stay overnight? A

motel in the area (they all look very expensive!)? Try to go to New

Jersey which is several miles away but motels are more reasonable?

Looking for any helpful recommendations here. Thanks!!
