HELP....my little boy has been crying for two straight days

Hello. I am a new member to this group. My son, Evan, has club feet

and is in his third round of casts. He showed discomfort with the

previous two rounds for about 24 hours, but then it subsided and he was

back to normal. This round, however, the discomfort has lasted now a

full 48 hours. He cries almost continuously and falls asleep only when

he's exhausted from crying. Tylenol is no longer helping the pain.

Does anyone have any suggestions for helping my little one to be more

comfortable? My doctor said the discomfort should only last 24 hours,

give or take. I put a call in to my doc this morning to see if he

things something is wrong. In the meantime, however, I thought I'd

check with the real life " experts " to see if there are any helpful

hints out there.
