Guest guest
I agree with the occasional planned infraction though perhaps not as we are starting out and clearing the system. Only when the system has cleared of gluten and yeast and parasites etc then I let my guard down. I had to because I was cleaning up pre teens aspies. This was 15 years ago. Pre teens need to be like their peers. They felt too different on this diet. So we would allow infractions and put up with the behaviors after wards. Sometimes I would kick myself for doing it because my daughter would become so violent. Then as a teenager she went off the diet completely so we sent her to live with my brother. She came home a year later and went back on the diet. By then she realized how much better she felt. She left home at 18 for college. She went off the diet. At 19 she called me up yelling at me and asking me if I didn't realize she was allergic to milk and wheat. I said " Really? " She now is off milk and wheat and has been by choice for 5 years. With my other children as long as they want to live here they will be milk free at home. We were able to go back on Gluten about 5 years after we went off it. Now we are milk free. Except for my 6 year old. He was born after we had gone back on gluten. So now he is GFCF. My friend cooks all his food and treats as she doesn't have so many children at home to cause such cross contamination issues as I do. We freeze everything she makes. I live a crazy life. Any way the good news is that yesterday Enoch Played with another child! He actually sat there for 15 minutes and played with a toy appropriately taking turns! IT was a total shock!! I have been yelled at at other groups for saying this before. It's okay. Those people who get angry and offended easily need to learn the principle of forgiveness. It makes for a very peaceful life. __________________________________________________
