Guest guest
Hi, my 21 month old daughter had been evaluated recently by the school and they ssaid she was functioning btwn the ages of 11-18 months. They did this evaluation because she has a 3yr old autistic brother and she was not picking up language. I put her on the GFCF diet for a week, and I started noticing more words, increased pointing and little pimples she had on her legs got better. but i do not think she is out of the woods.( She had soy smoothie and I noticed the pimples get worse). My question is : they are offering an hour a week of playtime only. does anyone have suggestions on how to get more services( I really think she needs much more), if the child does not meet the criteria of autism or PDD? She seems to be at this grey area where she can tip either way. I think intense therapy will help her gain the months she has lost.. looking forward to your advice...Thank you.
