Guest guest
I just wanted to reply to the question even tho a few days late. We have tried everything to comingle but we think we just came up with another infraction, maybe a a result of Thanksgiving at our house. Some things we've tried to do it effectively-gfcf kids eat at one end of table, anyone eating other stuff, especially crummy gluten, eats at the other end. I only wipe off table (starting at free zone) with paper towels and then throw them out so I don't spred crumbs in wrong direction. Seperate colanders for pasta, seperate plastic mixing utensils, and spoon rests on stove (color coded), seperate toasters. I also washed anything with gluten/casein/allergens by hand first and then put in dishwasher. Despite all of this, Connor seemed to become less connected, wasn't speaking in sentences, and had significantly less eye contact and behavior problems after Thanksgiving. Yesterday he seemed back to his old self. We are moving every day to be whole house; it's just so much work, I felt like the gluten casein police, and it didn't even seem to work. Hope this helps and isn't too discouraging. I think it CAN work, but it's a heavy workload. Helene
