Guest guest
It is normal to have sleeping problems in the first week. The first couple of days, I would get up every hour or so, and would have trouble falling back to sleep. Also, I would wake up in cold sweats during the night, which was very annoying. The sleep trouble is due to the medicine that is still in your body, and you are still trying to get adjusted to normal life after a very large surgery. Perhaps Nyquil could work, and know that soon the sleep will be uninterrupted. > It is the fifth day after surgury for me (upper and lower) and I have > found it utterly impossible to sleep at night. Guest guest
This is normal to be having sleeping problems. I had similar problems after surgery, and it lasted for a week or so. I would wake up every hour, and would have trouble falling asleep. Also I would wake up sweating during the night. This is normal because your body is reacting to the medication and you are trying to resume your regular sleeping cycle after a major surgery. Maybe NyQuil can help. But remember that soon your sleep will be better and uninterrupted. Good luck. Don't worry about it. > It is the fifth day after surgury for me (upper and lower) and I have > found it utterly impossible to sleep at night.
