I posted a few months ago saying who I was and what treatment my son

was having i.e. strapping. I had some replies back talking about

Ponseti and that I should look at this method. Which we had done and

thought this was what we were getting. The last straw came when the

consultant tried to put him in boots and bar when his feet clearly

weren't corrected. I researched more on the web and found Naomi

in Manchester England. Who I emailed asking if she could look at my

son's case. She came straight back to me asking me to call her which

I did. As we live about 5 hours drive from Manchester she recommended

that we went to see Alison Hulme at the Chelsea and Westminster

Hospital. I phoned up our doctors asking for a referral which they

gave. And the next week we were at C & W. We, not only meet Alison we

also meet who is a physio who does most of the castings

and sees every patient (They also went out the see Dr. P in September

last year). She first graded him a 5 left foot 6 right foot. She did

say it could take longer than normal due to the delay and how his feet

were. Plastered him up with reinforcements due to him being so

strong!!! Next week took him and his feet went down to 4.5 each they

were so pleased. Three plasters later and they said he was ready for

the op so on the 9th March Connor had this under general. Came out

fine and consultant said all went well. Well today took him back

after 3 weeks in plaster and he is now in 's and is at the

moment sleeping very contently in his bed (Fingers crossed). I would

just like to say thank you for giving me the strength and knowledge to

question and change. I cannot believe how fantastic his feet look now

and may it continue. Without a shadow of a doubt Ponseti method works.

Many thanks Cheryl
