Guest guest
Hi all, Been sorta tough reading many of the postings the last few days. Hope you do not mind if I mention that I am 5 months post-op as of today. Feel great, eat anything, about 1/2 - 2/3 volume presurgery. Have been very complaint with nutrionist suggestions, and really trying to MAXIMIZE the 12-18 month weight loss window. Of course I feel better physically, but also emotionally. Yeah, the stresses of everyday life do not disapate, but mentally...when you feel good about yourself...you just deal with the hurdles easier. To those preops....I can not describe how easy and normal these last 5 months have been. Sure, those few weeks after surgery were not fab...but it passes oh so quick, and then you feel much better than when you started. The best decision for me was picking the BPD/DS. It allows me a normal lifestyle, longer and healthy life and best chance of keeping the weight off! Five months today Start 373 pounds BMI 53 Today 257 pounds BMI 37 5 months...down 116 tiny pounds. A POSITIVE POSTER!!!! Dan
