How did you make out at the cardiologist? If you weren't happy or comfortable

with that doctor I have a wonderful pediatric cardiologist. I trust him

completely. He is the one who pushed to have seen by a geneticist and

made sure she made herself available for him. is now 5 1/2 and 2 years

ago we found out she had a very slight heart murmur. We saw her cardiologist in

July of 2003 and that's when we found out she had a very large hole in her

heart. In November of 2003 she had open heart surgery. She is doing great now.

Every once in a while she will tell me that her scar hurts. I spoke to her ped

about this at her recent check up and he said it could be the wires in her chest

are hitting nerve endings. I am calling her cardiologist to have him check

everything out. At her appointment last year with the cardiologist he told us

that from the beginning of coming to him she runs an abnormal EKG. It's

much better than before her surgery.

recently found out that our daughter madison's right side of her heart is

enlarged and we waited 6 months to get in at the cardiologist so when we heard

about Stirling we freaked out!!!! Her appointment is on Tuesday so we'll see

then.
