I just want to remind everyone that we are all volunteers here at MAGIC, and NOT doctors. So it makes me a bit worried, you can guess, when Cherie, you asked for the DHEA test when the endo wasn't there. I am guessing the pediatrician wouldn't have signed for it, if DHEA wasn't the right test for adrenarche. Right? I just wouldn't want the endo to get mad and think that another mom told you to get this blood test. ya know? Especially if the endo doesn't think a DHEA level is correct. (although I not only heard it from two endos but read it in a medical journal article on early adrenarche -- although they tested DHEAS -- but I have since heard that DHEA is a more reliable level).
