Nervous about starting shots

Hi again everyone-

We are going to see Dr H. on October 24 to start Laikyn on GH finally.

I am so nervous about giving her the shots. She has such a fear of

needles right no I am not sure how to go about this new little hill in

our lives. I don't know how to explain to a 3 yr old why mom and daddy

have to hurt her every night. I know that sounds harsh but I am a

total softy and need to find a way to be strong. I really could use

some advice for this.

Another ?- I know that the starter kit comes with 29 gage needles.

Are any of you using smaller ones like a 30 or 31? Laikyn has no body

fat and I am not sure if the smaller needles are working for any of

you. Are any of you using the ELA MAX creams? I have mixed feelings

about that also. PLease answer with any advice for a first time GH

giver!!!!
