Guest guest
As most of you know, Jodie and I went into NYC to see Chrissy and Madison at Mt. Sinai. They are comfortably situated in a single room - with refrigerator! We could not get over that one. How parent-friendly can that be? I was impressed. Maddy looked a bit better to Jodie than she did on Sunday. Her face was not as drawn and the circles were gone from under her eyes. But the poor thing kept retching and crying. I felt so bad for her! We spent most of the time sitting with them in the waiting area of radiology because Maddy was going to be sedated to have an MRI and a PICC line placed. When Maddy went in, after a LONG wait, we left Chrissy with lots of food, drinks, magazines and toys (for Maddy, of course). We told her to get some rest and to eat. Maddy gets upset if Chrissy eats in front of her. I have since spoken to Chrissy and Maddy is back in her room. Things went well. She's just tired. And hungry, I bet. Chrissy really appreciated the messages that you sent to her. As promised, I printed them up and took them in. She now has a computer in her room, so she can connect to the internet and read the listserve. We will keep you posted as we hear things.
