Guest guest
We have the P/M so I'm not sure if it's different for the DBB, but this is what I do. Measure the shoulders- from outer point to outer point (I have a sewing measuring tape- works great). Then measure the brace from the screws in the center of the heel of the shoes on the bottom). They should be the same. Is your Dr saying to have the brace 1 " longer than the shoulder width? I would just experiment with it and see what works best for your son. I know some on here like it 1 " longer, my son likes it even. In Kori's tips document there is a pic of how to measure just by holding the brace up to the shoulders- but I'm really anal so I bust out the measuring tape.
