We have the P/M so I'm not sure if it's different for the DBB, but

this is what I do. Measure the shoulders- from outer point to outer

point (I have a sewing measuring tape- works great). Then measure

the brace from the screws in the center of the heel of the shoes on

the bottom). They should be the same.

Is your Dr saying to have the brace 1 " longer than the shoulder

width? I would just experiment with it and see what works best for

your son. I know some on here like it 1 " longer, my son likes it

even.

In Kori's tips document there is a pic of how to measure just by

holding the brace up to the shoulders- but I'm really anal so I bust

out the measuring tape.

Yep- that's what we have. P/M (Ponseti/).
