Hello folks..

Well and I endured yet another trip to the

shriners today. The docs were happy with her foot

turning and we are all hoping this will be her last

cast. We have had to go each week to get a new cast

put on to turn her foot just a bit more. Anyway.. I

asked if she could be weighed while the cast was off.

They were all so kind and took me to the scales. They

weighted her with a diaper and a onesie on... she

tipped the scales at 8 pounds 9 ounces. I was a bit

saddened... I was hoping for more of a gain. She's 4

months old.... I dunno... The ride is really

draining.. 3 hours one way. I had to bring my 5 year

old today also.. so you can imagine the extra fun we

had. Anyway.. we are hoping that will be done

with the casting stuff next week. I'm not sure if she

will have to have special shoes or what... Guess I'll

earn that later. We still have the genetic testing

next month.. I have been told that will be a long day.

Oh the joy!

I was reading the chat about breastmilk.. I nurse

and was considering 1/2 BM and 1/2 a higher

calorie formula. Her spitup isn't bad at all right

now.. but she had several dirty diapers every day. How

many should a baby have? She has about 5-7 a day. I'm

worried she loosing weight thru too many poopies.

Anyway.. what do ya'll think?

Thanks for advice in advance...
