Bone age - very unusual

WE saw Emerence's endo last week and she called me today after she

read a bone age xtray we took in May.

At age 15 months last year her hand read at 9-12 months

At age 27 months her hand read at 2y2m - 2y3m

So she is caught up (help her - s hould she have caught up in a

year?!) BUT in the row of bones across the palm one is completely

not ossified/developed and is very delayed for bone age. I forgot

to ask which one (duh - panic brain set in) and neither she nor

the specialist she asked to read it had ever seen or heard of

anything like it.

She was calling me from a different satellite office and will follow

up with the top specialists in bone age/structure at Children's next

week. She was wondering if any other RSS kids had this funky

feature or if it was a marker for a totally different syndrome?

And she now is totally okay with GH (she was not opposed she just

wanted to give me time to think through the options) so now I wonder

if the bone age triggered something??

, mom to 5 and Emerence 2.5 22lb 32 "
