Guest guest
Hi everyone. Here's a little information about me. I have twin girls who are a little over 3 months old. During my pregnancy one of my girls, Bella, had very low amniotic fluid, and as a result was born with dislocated hips and bilateral clubbed feet. We see an orthopedic surgeon at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN who uses the Ponsetti Method. Bella got her first casts when she was 3 weeks old. She had a tenotomy about a month ago and got her last casts off last Tuesday. She's been in the dennis brown bar for almost a week now. The first two days were really rough but now I don't think she even notices the bar. Here's my question. I'm wondering if she's going to be able to move around while wearing the FAB. She's too little to do anything right now, but she'll be in the FAB 23/7 until she's 6 months old. Will being in the FAB delay her being able to move around? I'm mostly worried because she has a twin sister who doesn't have any physical limitations, and I don't want Bella to be delayed compared to her sister. Thanks!
