Is a little bit of redness in the brace ok??

I thought I'd pose my question here. has been wearing the

brace since the end of Feb. When I buckle the shoe as tight

as I can to get his heel all the way down, the top of his foot becomes

very red and irritated. However, when I loosen it one loophole, his

heel doesn't stay all the way down. We're talking only a little bit,

but he's already relapsed once and I'm paranoid about things going

perfectly this time. I would like to keep the shoes on tightly all

the time, but I'm afraid of causing a pressure sore.

sent me a wool pad to help with the pressure, but it doesn't seem to

be helping.

Any advice?
