I have a question for others, does it seem like a lot of enzymes if

I tell you my daughter is five years old, weighs about 37 pounds,

and needs at least 4 pancrease MT20 to give us the results we are

looking for.

My granddaughter used to take allot at first few years. We weren't as

controlling with diet at that time. Just wanted her to gain all the time.

She was growing so tall. It looked like she wasn't doing well in that area.

BUT. she is 20+ & 6ft. tall now. Still slim , but her sisters are too. :):)

They are teens . She still runs cross country & ski's all the time she is

free. (She is at college in Boone N.C. --write in the heart of ski country

:) Anyway, she only takes her enzymes with certain foods. so she doesn't

have problems with the fatty stuff(pizza-her mainstay-hehe) She was born

with a mecomiun iliues (very common in CF) & so enzymes were really pushed

to avoid any other blockages. ---Now she knows what SHE can deal with &

adjusts to it.

You are watching your wee ones foods stools , just see as she does well in

gaining....it most likely is fine. Your dietician can also help with the

" food: angles. ALL THOSE WITH CF DO NOT TAKE ENZYMES however , most do.

I am sure you will hear from many great folks on the list with their

experiences. BUT, get info also

from the clinic about your special person. Many times , " mommy knows best "
