Guest guest
Bev, I don't know about that, we can argue with the best of them. I think what we have in our corner is that I have grown up with him since I was 9 years old and he was 12. We were friends all those years before any romance. In fact my has been in my family longer then my brother who is 21! Your family sounds so very close and so nice to each other. The grandchildren especially are lucky. All my grandparents (3 are dead) have lived in Ireland so I never knew them. I think it's great the grandparent/grandchild relationship. My dad was pretty strict but he's soft with the grandkids. eilish update Were exactly half way through these IV's. On the home stretch now. As usual her cough has gone by the 2nd day but they are not letting her stop them early like last time as we don't want to be back on them next month. She came to work with me yesterday. I don't know what its like in other countries but here I am responsible for her and she must stay with me except like this morning when took her to the physio (who meets us at my mums) and then she's back with me. We stayed at work for 6 hours and the physio met us there. Luckily I work in the medical field and have been there 18 years so my boss is a angel. 6 hours in s surgery with Eilish who was bored nearly sent me stir crazy, but we survived. Tomorrow she has review at the hsp. which is tob. levels etc. Looking forward to sleeping in. (Australia)
Guest guest
You are lucky. No you two have all those " when we were kids " memories too. I love it!! You should write a wee story on that. Very sweet & shows being FRIENDS at first really helps. I am so sorry you all haven't been able to have your grand folks with yours some at least. I so love being with my kids/spouses as well/grandkids. It is truly my makeup in my own life. They are sooooo much fun. I believe all things should be turned around & as much as possible be made more with fun things..... I don't mean to sound frivolous-Just a more positive slant on things. ESPECIALLY , when I cant change it. You sound like you do the same. Kind of roll with the punches. hehe. My kids were all friends with their spouses from their school days too. I used to take them all with us on all our vacations & trips. Even holidays (thanksgiving...Easter , etc. Many times their parents would give them some of their portion of cost (like all their own spending $$, -- events, amusement parks, attractions fees) so that wasn't an added expense for me. We did allot of camping & beaching. Some city places .but not allot. I also got to know them better so I think they feel like I am really another mom to them too. I really never think of them as in-laws...-Some folks I hear , have some real duds -that must be hard. ANYWAY, Have a super 2004---I know you all will. No more spills on the floor though ---hehe Love & HUGS, GrandmomBEV eilish update Were exactly half way through these IV's. On the home stretch now.
