Guest guest
Well, it's been 72 hours plus or minus since my wife had her TP and Spleen removed. I spend 7 hours a day there and today was a better day than yesterday. She slept pretty well last night, without having to resort to that pain medication thru the pump. This morning I had her doing " laps " around the nurses station, first 3 then 6 laps a few hours later. We were some sight, lol dragging that IV pole with about 8 wires and bags hanging down. She is now receiving nasal tube feeding thru a tube in her nose that goes to the intestine. The nutritional feeding contains sugar so every so often they give her insulin. Despite some pressure from gas, she goes on the potty and out it comes, then feels a lot better. Her bandages were removed this morning and the incesion was made right over or very close to her old one from 4 years ago when she had that Trans Duodenal Sphincterplasty. All in all a good day and her 3 physicians who come in every day without fail,,, and say good progress is being made. If they are happy, so are we, Keep smiling,,,,, Doc in Az.
