Guest guest
True, pancreatitis is a true ten, but, A kidney stone is a 15. Try having them both at the same time. I'm just lucky that I was too immobilized by then to get to my gun.....lol... I really don't believe anyone that has had neither can truly realize the pain. Nausea and all else aside. Btw, my doc also thinks I'm a lush. Maybe two drinks a year. Good luck Mike, R.
Guest guest
I guess there are different type stones, mine all (21 over the years) have looked like a mace. That is a little ball with spikes all over it, razor sharp spikes, cut your finger spikes,1/4 " in diameter. Don't know if that makes them big or small, but, I know when they travel from the kidney to the bladder, there is no medication that takes the pain away or even makes it bearable. You have to wait for it to stop moving for relief. At least with my panc if I go in the er and they hit me with a 150 mg of demerol it definately takes the edge off. I am never pain free with the panc but atleast sometimes I can funtion somewhat. R
