Guest guest
Hi !! I am so glad you finally have a diagnoses!! I knew Dr. Lehman was the doctor for the job. Did he tell you if he took pressure readings from both the bile duct and pancreatic duct?? If so, do you know what they were? I too had a temporary stent placed in my panc duct after my last ERCP with him. It travels out of the body (through the intestines) in about 7-10 days. You will have to take a KUB x-ray and it will tell if the stent has migrated out of the duct yet or not. I hope you can finally find some sort of peace now that you have an idea what is going on with your insides. I am really very happy for you. I hope you are feeling better real soon. Please keep us posted on your progress. Take care Kris in TN
Guest guest
, Welcome home! Rest yourself well now and don't try to do too much. It's great news that you got your diagnosis (as you thought) and interesting to know that you participated in that trial. It would be wonderful if it's proven effective, and would help so many people with their post-ERCP problems. You must be excited to finally have a real GI to see and treat you, too! I do hope that the stent will help once you get over the residual pain from the procedure. Let us know how it all goes with your new doctor. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Guest guest
, I'm so glad you finally saw someone who was able to help you. As for taking Vioxx, I had to try taking that because of the - 2 inhibitor to help reduce the tumours I have growing, and was told about the heard problems related to the Vioxx. Probably because I am on a blood thinner, it didn't even remotely concern me, but if it was such a problem to anyone's hearts, it wouldn't be on the market. My oncologist then had told me that many people who participated in the study at the time had problems already existing with their blood and/or heart and they were the ones who had heart problems with the Vioxx. I'd get them to monitor it, but not let it worry you too much.
