Guest guest
I also run a low grade temp when I am having a flare up. I talked with my doc about this and he said that when I flare up it is an inflammatory process and our bodies will fight that inflammation the only way it knows how, low grade temp. Amongst other things. A fever is not considered medically significant until it is above 100.5f. However what I have always wondered is that basis is made on the " normal " temp of being 98.6. Well that is not the normal temp it is the AVERAGE of normal temps. I for one generally run on the lower side with MY normal temp being about 97. So I think for me to have a temp of 100 should be considered medically significant. But thats just my opinion from my little corner of the world. Ihope that helps.
