Guest guest
Hi, I am sort of in the same boat you are, well at least I was until I found a good doc. I too had gallbladder surgery in 1997 and since then I have been sick, sick, sick. It took me almost 6 years to finally find a doctor that understands what is happening to me during these " attacks " and I finally have some answers too. I see Dr. Lehman in Indiana. I truly believe he is one of the best endoscopist in the country. I tried several other docs who were specialists too but noone seemed to be able to help me. Sometimes my enzymes would elevate and sometimes they don't. When I finally found Dr. Lehman, he explained everything to me and let me know that with CP the enzymes don't always elevate and that there is no " cure " but there are different treatments to try and see what works best for me. I don't know where you are located but he might be a doctor you could get to see. There are, of course, other " good " docs in other states too, just have to ask some other members to list names I guess. Hope this helps.
