Guest guest
, Welcome to our " warm & fuzzy " little group here! Glad you found us. This group will be a tremendous resource for you. Not only for you emotionally, but as a sounding board to help focus your questions for your doctors, field your explanations to family and friends, and will more than likely be a group of true friends who can relate to your issues. I just wanted to comment on the onset of your attacks. You said your first attack was just before a business trip. I, myself seem to have more attacks brought on by stress (good or bad) than by what I eat. I did kiss my ny Red Scotch goodbye 3 years ago, but it wasn't a painful (no pun intended) separation for me, as I was never much of a drinker anyway. Since having my gallbladder out this past December, I have imbibed a bit of wine here and there with a meal. It seemed to go fine a couple of times (my dr said it would be " fine " and encouraged it for its positive effects), but the last time I had a sip or two, even the wine cause an attack. I just thought I would mention the stress and consumption of ANY alcohol being a bad bad bad thing for me. Maybe you might follow your stresses and see if there is a pattern there? Just suggestions, Donna Womack Fort Worth, TX
