Guest guest
As a newcomer to this group, I'm sure my condition is " old hat " to some. I don't know how to search the voluminous amount of messages to see if this is answered else where; so, here goes: Hospitalized with acute, gall-stone pancreatitis in June of 2002. Two laparotomies were performed with removal of gall bladder. I spent 5 months in the hospital with psuedo-cysts, numerous abscesses, ileostomy and the reversal. All told, the process has taken about two years. I have recovered my original weight and am feeling much better except for a reoccurring low grade temperature everyday of around 99.2. The temp. seems to rise after each meal, getting higher as the day progresses. It makes me feel pretty bad. By morning, however, the temp is down to its normal low of 97.7. The doctors tend to ignore this saying that it's no fever. But, it makes me feel terrible and I'm hoping it will go away. My fear is that the pancreas is still inflamed and not functioning properly. Stool and blood tests, however, have proven otherwise. Can someone shed any light on this for me. Regards, C.
